Perform housekeeping and cleaning activities as assigned or established by Housekeeping Supervisor.
Clean assigned area, furnishings, fixtures according to established procedures.
Clean floors, wet/dry mop, sweep, buff, disinfect where and when necessary.
Know proper cleaning procedures and proper chemicals to use for the job, know how to use chemical machine.
Perform emergency housekeeping where accidents occur.
Vacuum and spot clean carpets. Empty waste baskets.
Clean bathrooms (residents, public, private).
Clean windows, mirrors, replenish bathroom supplies.
Clean stairways, elevators, entrances, exits.
Perform other job related duties as directed.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, and comprehend instructions and follow orders. Must have neat appearance and personality to work with people. Prompt and regular attendance is essential. Job assignments are expected to be completed in a timely manner.
